Constables Recruitment-2010

Rajasthan Police has announced the recruitment opening for the post of Constables in Rajasthan Police. Candidates those are interested and eligible for the post of Constables, in Rajasthan Police Recruitment can apply for the post.

Number of Vacancies

Total number of vacancies on various posts are as follows:
Name of the post: Constable General
Total posts: 6564 (Constable Operator 49 Posts, Constable Driver 575 Posts, Constable Horse Rider 25 Posts, Constable Band 87 Posts)

Minimum Educational Qualification

  • 8th Pass  : for Constable General, Constable Driver and Constable Band in RAC/MBC battalion.
  • 10th pass : for Constable General, Constable Driver, Constable Horse Rider and Constable Band in District Police and CID (CB/IB) GRP/ACB.
  • For Constable Operator, qualification required is Higher Secondary with physics and Math.

Selection procedure

The selection procedure is simple in following order:

  • Written test
  • Physical Test
  • Medical Test.

Written test date and venue will be sent to candidates by post.

There is an application fee of  Rs. 200 for General and OBC candidates, and Rs. 150 for SC/ST. Fee should be submitted through IPO. Cash, Bank Draft/ DD, cheque or any other mode will not be accepted.
