I have had a horrible experience in buying IPL tickets online. First of all the site integration with the paymeng gateway doesn’t work most of the time. Somehow managed to place a order on 10th Mar for a ticket for 16th Mar match held in Eden Gardens. Even after repeated mails (they don’t respond) and followups I could not get my ticket delivered at my office after paying the courier fees. Finally, after several phone calls, I have been informed to collect the ticket from Mohamadan Sporting counter. I had another horrible experience at the counter. I have produced the copy of the mail confirmation from Ticketgenie, the printout of the order confirmation and also showed my original PAN card for verification. The counter person refused to handover the ticket to me reasoning wrong cell number in the evelope. Now, the biggest surprise is the the address written on the envelope. Where my name, pin number and my wrong cell number were mentioned. Nothing else! Which courier on earth will deliver the parcel with these information ? I was also told that I will be refunded my courier money ( Rs 60/-) . The same has aslo not been done. Is this the kind of service they provide ?
